Ploughman's Lunch Appetizers

Plough into my ploughman’s lunch appetizer recipe without a care in the world. I’ve made it on a mini scale so it’s an easy snack to prepare. Grab The Laughing Cow Light with Cheddar as it has all the cheddar flavour at 25 calories per triangle, and get stuck in. There’s no need to put your wellies on, unless you want to add that final touch, of course.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Makes 10

Ingredients

  • 1 miniature baguette, cut into 10 rounds
  • 5 triangles of The Laughing Cow Light with Cheddar
  • 50g thin cut ham
  • 4 small pickled onions, quartered
  • 2 tablespoons of sweet chutney
  • Few sprigs of thyme

Method

  1. Spread each slice of baguette with half a triangle of The Laughing Cow Light with Cheddar.
  2. Add a fold of ham and a pickled onion quarter.
  3. Top each serving with a teaspoon of chutney and a sprig of thyme.
  4. Place on a plate or board for that rustic feel.
